SRIYHA announced a new partnership with the Eastern Select Girls Hockey League in 2021 to provide players and their families an alternative to current options for select girls hockey in New England. 

Open to all girls in the Rhode Island area from U12 to U19, the program highlights are:

• U12 enjoys a supplemental 18 game schedule in the ESGHL with monthly skills and one ice sheet every other week
• U14 plays a full 30 game schedule in the ESGHL with three ice sheets per week and monthly skills. Also designated as a National Bound team
• U16 plays a half season of 15 games with three ice sheet per week and monthly skills. Also designated as a National Bound team
• U19 has a half season of 15 games, three ice sheets per week and monthly skills
